I think Chromatica will get Dance Album of the Year over Dua Lipa's remix album. If she gets a nom for best dance, that’s a good shot too. I forgot if they had a best collaboration category but that’s a good shot too. Other than that, I think others will take the big categories. StrawberryBlond 14,364 Posted September 17, 2020 Share Posted September 17, 2020 I would like to say yes but after ASIB didn't even get a nomination and that had a massive global #1 that won other Grammys plus an Oscar and sold a couple million more than Chromatica did, I'm not sure. Remember how we all thought this nomination was on lock as well? I can't think what competition there would be to outnumber her for a nomination this time, though, so a nomination should be possible. But a win would be unlikely, an electropop album has never won. I think she'll be lock for Best Pop Collab and likely win it (she's been owning this category in every other award show) and Best Pop Vocal Album however. If we're lucky, she may get a nomination for ROM under song/record of the year but who can say? It's a long shot if she can be nominated for Stupid Love under Best Solo Pop as well. Chromatica will surely get into the Top 20, so we just need the panel to put Gags in. As to if that will happen... idk, I see a path for her but I don't see them nominating all of Folklore, Chromatica, Future Nostalgia, Hollywood's Bleeding, After Hours, and Fine Line. Some are more likely than others, there are always some curveballs, and it depends on who the panel wants to win. Some of those will be left out.
