theadamcreator 169 Posted September 14, 2020 Share Posted September 14, 2020 When i was in school a friend gave everyone a CD with a lot of music videos and songs for his birthday and he mentioned Lady Gaga was included. 11 year old me didn’t speak english and had never heard of her (I listened almost entirely to hispanic music like Shakira, Juanes, and Julieta Venegas). Long story short the (very religious) mom of one of the kids my friend gave the CD to was furious about the videos (it had the recently released Born This Way video and obviously the Alejandro one fueled her fire) and called everyone’s parents telling them there was ****ography and Satanism in the CD and that we had to do something about it, no one did and she ended up looking like the crazy bitch she is. At that point i was barely realizing i was gay so the experience helped me since i saw my mom being judgemental towards the woman’s judgement (?) Cut to 2 years later when i just turned 13 and the ARTPOP era was on the horizon that i stumbled upon her (i already knew enough enlish to understand most things) and the rest is gaystory. Beautiful, like an angel, with green eyes like beach glass and blond hair that swooped across her forehead. "Goo goo gaga" I cooed. "Yes, yes, Gaga...Gaga..." "Release LG7 Queen" I whispered back. And then I felt myself being flung out the window. I landed in a pile of oranges on a flatbed truck headed for Canada and that's the last thing I can remember. And I thought it was Xtina because of this video And then I saw it was by Lady Gaga. And I thought: What kinda name is Lady Gaga? I became a fan of Poker Face, then The Fame.
