Take care and enjoy TikTok! I don't have TikTok I'm talking about the big picture. I make smartphone applications for a living, I know what's possible or not without having to ask for the user consent. Also there is nothing illegal as you claim and an exhaustive list of the data collected is easily accessible on their website and linked to the app page on your app store. Everything is public and it is your duty as a user to read the privacy policies of your apps
memomemome 1,482
good for them tbh. they'd better focus on gaming tbh as console battle heathen up... social media is tricky tbh with content moderation stuff etc etc.

Married the Night 3,955
I don’t care. I love Tik Tok. Facebook already stalks me and my phone shows advertisements for stuff I talk about. I’m really not worried about TikTok tracking me lol

Nice try tho. Read it and they basically only said they track the app activity which is not true. 28 minutes ago, Wisdomless1 said: Check and Mate. Regina George 59,387
The fact that people on here are literally not even understanding how this app monitors their every move even while not using the app itself shows how ignorant and uneducated people actually are when it comes to their privacy and safety. President Biden 5,898
Glad it is saved. My sudden tiktok success is the sole thing perpetuating my confidence. Seriously i dont get why people hate on it so much. Like it’s a trend and it’s here to stay. Use it or not, but why put so much effort into hating something that’s helped a lot of people (connecting people during COVID, helping people come out, building up self confidence). I actively use social media in all forms & for a while joked that TikTok was a bad fad. But it’s proven to stand the test of time (and immense political pressure). Furthermore, since joining, I’ve found it to actually be one of the most rewarding social media platforms. I barely can get a retweet on Twitter or for my Instagram pics to reach over 200 likes. Why? Because those platforms you don’t look for new people. You just devour the ones you followed to start with. TikTok is an endless search for new connections. I’ve met new people on it, constantly am following someone new, and actually don’t get bored by it I got drunk
