The necklace that makes up the jewelry set consists of a chain, made of tightly woven wire links, to which are attached 26 pendants, which have bitronconic shape and were made in the technique of watermark and granulation. "In ancient times, the number of pendants was higher. Today, at least one of them is missing, this being probably lost recently after the manipulation of the piece by traffickers ", mention the representatives of MNU Alba Iulia. Museographers believe that the set of ornaments comes from a Greek goldsmith's workshop, probably located in one of the cities on the Black Sea coast, being produced in the II-I centuries BC.
