CatelynnMarie 4,406
I connected with it immediately. The transition completely blew me away and lyrically, it’s entirely about me. The whole song just speaks to me in a very particular way. I’m so grateful this song was created
Mr S 8,672
1. It sounds fresh and cool. The lyrics are personal and unique. That robotic vocal delivery is full of layers and is not easy to do. It's one of the few songs on the album that sound complete in songwriting structure. And of course, the transition. 2. I don't think any song makes a good radio single in that it has a chance at catching on with pop radio. So may as well go with something fresh that can at least give way to a killer video/visual. ("Babylone" would be the other option imo) Also, it lets people know that the album is not just full of mediocre/dated productions. It's got the edgier stuff too. While the first 2 singles were a return to form in terms of dance/pop, this proves she's still got that unique Gaga identity musically and lyrically. 3. I think this is the same as #2. Defmix100 6,365
my opinion on it has changed and I've been playing it repeatedly over the last couple weeks. There's still things I don't like about it but I love the dark undertone, the lyrics, the high prechorus vocals and I personally love the chorus though I know a lot of fans don't even if they are fans of the song overall. I think the chorus is the catchiest part and feels like I Like It Rough and MJH had a chorus baby in tone. I think out of all the remaining songs it could also have the most interesting and 'gaga' music video if they make one.
Bazaar 5,752
I love everything about it! The deep lyrics, the production, the darkness & that it’s so catchy!
ryansamonster 1,707
My favorite part is the second verse where the robotic backing vocals go from a high female to low male voice as Gaga sings. Plus the lyrics here are so well written. I forgot the other questions, but at this point it’s like beating a dead horse. Obvi something is planned for 911. I don’t think it’ll get single treatment, I think it may be the G.U.Y./John Wayne of the era to surprise fans since she’s been gone for so long. tyler k 5,330
Amazing production. There’s not a song out there that sounds like this. If you disagree, then find a me a song & prove me wrong. Brilliant lyrics that are dark - yes they are dark lmao she literally says “I can’t see me cry ever again” like do y’all understand what she’s taking about?? How can you not call this song dark? It’s classic Gaga. It’s weird, it’s different, it’s experimental (the most experimental track on Chromatica) and it’s a banger. The beat & the chorus are so iconic, it won’t matter if it’s a big hit or not... the song itself is still damn good even without the transition. Pair this song with an incredible music video & release a radio edit for radio & streaming & TikTok that has C2/911 together.... we’ve got an iconic single on our hands. Plus it has a great Fall vibe compared to the more Summer-y & bright ROM & SL. mmmy name ~isn't~ aliceee

Schwerk 7,243
Madonna was the first thing that popped into my head when I first heard it and I never seemed to shake that thought. I understand the robotic sound, it just don't find it nice to listen to. In general I don't like heavy autotuned vocals. It did grow on me and the lyrics are relatable, but it will never be a fav of mine I think. I did really love hearing it live because her live arrangements literally rock and that is my jam. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
