She's got to change her clothes for y'all to be happy now?  If she weren't interested in anything she wouldn't have released her single + MV + performed it live more than once + released a tiny desk concert. But yes sHe iS OvEr

Not sure that a 'non-era' drop is particularly indicative of Billie's 'future' - but, I must say, I am really intrigued to see how her career will unfold. I think her sound (and image) is so very specific and that, already, things have moved on quite quickly from that. Then again, her debut was so huge that it would surprise me if her second album isn't a success. 

I can't see her changing her sound, though, and that's sometimes required for sustaining momentum. 

I mean, can you imagine if she released an eighties-inspired club banger? 

Unlikely... but, either way, it'll be interesting to see what happens. I think, somewhere along the line, she'll have to change things up, which I'm excited to witness whenever the time is right.

And, just to be clear, I certainly don't want her to 'flop' - and anyone hoping she does is wasting their energy because, frankly, there's no such thing as 'flopping' when you're a teenager with more money and accolades than the vast majority of all of humanity combined. And that can be said for every mainstream pop artist... they could never be 'over'.

I said she doesn't look interested, not that she isn't interested. The girl barely looks enthusiastic. 

And... well its tired. I do expect people go change their clothes lmao, especially when you compare to someone like Gaga who brings OUTFITS. I shouldn't know what Billie is gonna wear at an awards show, but I do. Its so boring. To me, her whole persona is boring, and so is her music
