She has a unique edge and sound and I don't see her compromising her artistic growth to maintain commercial success. I'm not sure why My Future was pushed to radio so much by Interscope cause it really isn't a radio-friendly song. That doesn't mean it's a bad song though. I like seeing artists not necessarily feeling tethered to the charts. Lorde really did her own thing for Melodrama. She has just had one album cycle and has managed to generate a commercial monster, one of the biggest global albums of last few years out of it, with six Grammys from it, not to mention her streaming and recurrent stats are insane. Give her at least one more era before writing her off. Besides, she's not even 20 yet. The dramatics. And I'm not even a Billie fan.
