Sorry but it’s not that hard to understand Amazon bought the singles for full price and sold them discounted in order to promote their own platform.

I think (and I fear ) this might be the beginning of several reigning Kpop songs on the top of billboard. Their streams are massive. If Billboard doesn’t adapt the rules, they will take the top spot almost every time

sometimes i really wonder how armys are so so blind to bighit's blatant capitalist cash grabs whilst also completely ignoring bts' true artistry and hard work. all i'm gonna say is that this was bts' first english song when and i quote they said 'we will never make an english song, we make songs in korean', and it was one of their first songs that they had ZERO writing credits on.

this is like little monsters making jewels n drugs go number one, just consider that

i agree, but if BTS were really against it, they would not release the song in all english. it might cost them their group and career, but if your artistic integrity is so easy to crumble under pressure it wasn’t really there to begin with.

with that being said, i love the song. it’s a bop

i don't think its a matter of your artistic integrity crumbling, i think its a matter of it simply being easier to listen to what you're told and make what you want later. somewhat of a compromise, almost like how gaga has made several concessions as to which songs she releases as singles. sometimes, the label just has the final word and that can't be helped.

however, it does really upset me that they did make the song. i respect bts for one thing more than anything, and that's their artistry, and if anything, the fact that they didn't even help write the song is the bigger issue to me. at this point, in the eyes of a long term fan who actually has the ability to make objective judgements (unlike most within the fandom, sadly), they've either sold out and have completely given up on being artistically independent, or there's something dark and unpleasant happening behind the scenes.

however, they have released some phenomenal songs this year, that they self-wrote and were in korean, so those are songs i'll be streaming instead. dynamite is good, it just really is not to my taste.

They don't deserve it. This song is the most generic song I've heard in a while. And it's just a bad song. With poor lyrics and poor production. 0 originality. Sorry not sorry. And their Stans (especially / mostly on Twitter) are super annoying.
