Bruh don’t lie to yourself, all of her songs are very repetitive. (which is not a bad thing lol)

Poker Face? She repeats that chorus 15 times lmao

she repeats the chorus of 911 “my biggest enemy is me, pop a 911” only 6 times

sooooo which song is more repetitive again?:huntyga:

Poker face had the electronic synth, piano riff, “ma-ma-ma-muh” AND male backup vocals all going on in the background. Literally each element is catchy and hum-worth on its own, all together created one of the most memorable choruses in pop music of the 2000s decade.
What does 911 have going on? Generic, forgettable production on a repetitive lyrics.

Fan favorite ≠ good single choice

we have to learn the difference

even if I LOVE Bloody Mary, I would never choose it as a single

I never said 911 was a great single choice, but all I'm saying is that some users on here I've seen praise 911, but are now calling it boring in this thread.

Plus, there have been fan favorites that did well as singles, such as Bad Romance, Alejandro, Paparazzi and TEOG

Three of those songs are from 10+ years ago, and the other is nearing 10 years, and were all released during her commercial peak :bear:

I'm just saying, there are instances where fan favorites became singles and they did well. We don't know what will happen with 911.

No one in their right mind would wanna make a song sound that bad 💀

But I guess that’s the point of the song, her biggest enemy is herself :billie:

Tbh it likely won't do well.

Post-singles are basically dead now with streaming, especially when the most popular spotify lists never tend to have them added. It did well on Tik Tok for a bit, but it's been months since then and I don't know if it's still doing as well as it was. (Also wasn't there something about Trump banning Tik Tok or something?). And since iTunes is also  dead now save for fan purchases, well...

True, but I hope Gaga does some promo for it. She is very promo sensitive.

Plus, I don't think Tik Tok is getting banned anymore. I think they sued the Trump Administration or something lmao

Even if it doesn't do well, hopefully the video is great

Gaga worked on the fame monster and born this way while on tour .. i can't see nothing wrong with that .

You're aware she has fibromyalgia now? She's not in her early 20s. :bear:

I think next Lady Gaga big hit will be when she'll release brand new song. It's quite hard nowadays to push song that is released months ago (unless you have radios on your side, which is quite an issue for Lady Gaga).

Anyway I'm here for more Gaga content from Chromatica as it means new music video coming. Gaga already has her hit songs on the album. So I'm fine enjoying the era without the commercial side.

Yeah I can't see there being much promo with everything still as it is. And yeah, hopefully! That's all that matters in the end honestly. I just wanted to be realistic about the chart stuff, I honestly don't really care about them much and never understood the hype about the charts :toofunny:

False, false and false. They were smart, extremely catch and well produced. They didn’t consist of one sentence being repeated over and over and over and over again on a boring beat that doesn’t sound interesting enough to make up for the lazy lyrics.

911 chorus is boring, flat and so repetitive. Just like how most reaction videos described it.
