You go up that stage and do the same thing even while lipsyncing and be as iconic as she is and sell more than 100 million records and then come here talking about her LiPsYnC

I looooved this performance because she actually did sing a couple parts and they changed up the vocals. I wasn’t dissing her that she was lipsynching at all. This is my favorite performance of hers and I used to play it over and over again.I think you are being a little oversensitive.

Actually, if you pay attention to the one live part during the second verse and her singing in the final chorus, you can tell that she might (keyword might) have wanted to sing live for the full performance, and not just Satisfaction. he/him/his

It's so iconic really and she was so FIERCE! 6 hours ago, Twitter said: This performance was so good. I lowkey enjoyed this more than the 2001 performance. 5 hours ago, Kimblue said: It was actually a lot better than the snake performance. That was played exactly like the album. Of course it's her best. Every provocative musical component in her career that came after (I'm a Slave 4 U, Toxic/In The Zone, Blackout and arguably Circus/Glory) are ALL derived from this performance. 'Slave' NEVER changed her image, EVER. It is important in her discography because it changed her sound. She was literally still considered a virgin throughout that whole 'Slave' era so it's laughable to be all revisionist now that just because the producers of the song are black the song is responsible for making her grown up. (Musically, yes but image-wise no.)

FrederickSpears 2,118
This is such an incredible performance, I watch it quite often. SO good. I like it better than Slave (although that performance is also iconic) and these performances just prove why she's a legend (among many other things). Ugh, I love her. I hope she comesback stronger than ever once this conservatorship is finally over.
