Gaga has always been the woman who will give you a concept. I agree with the rehearsal! The dancing needs to improve. She needs to hit the choreo more precise or Richy needs To only do dances that make her look good. Stupid love looked like she was spazzing lmao but that’s just Gaga she always gets wild on stage. I do wish that the performance was a little more vivid and told the story of the songs she sang. Paparazzi was so concept and visual heavy that I always want her to go in that direction. I think again in the case of the manic-fan phenomena that the disappointment almost always results from built up anticipation and expectations that are brought too high for Gaga to ever meet. Part of it is because she doesn't have the same quantity of output compared to her peers (I.E. Rihanna used to do a million features between albums and release albums much faster than Gaga does (up until now of course, just an example)). She served crazy outfits. She served concept. She served choreo and good vocals. It may not have been eye popping and viscerally disturbing like Paparazzi but that doesn't mean that it was subpar. I think a criticism is fair when it's fair but when all of the facts are considered (i.e. Gaga's health, better vocals vs better dancing) that you have to take everything in as a whole and not just focus on what you didn't like. Another example that I can think of is that one Judas performance where Gaga danced the house down but her vocals were AWFUL. You have to make trade offs. I think that Gaga over time has had a better balance of trade-offs that create more cohesive and polished performances. Nothing is really ever perfect and there's nothing wrong with that. I want to remember that we had terrible performances like bad romance at xfactor or judas on Ellen.. I think Gaga is improving in some aspects The paparazzi performance is so overrated.. Gaga also is always doing something, so I’m sure she just has a busy schedule. I do wish she would slow down and bit and focus on her health and one project at a time. But she loves to juggle.
