Chromatica is inspired by 80s/90s house, but it still sounds fundamentally like late 2000s/early 2000s pop music for me. SL, ROM, and FW would have SMASHED if they were singles in 2010-2014. And of course it's subjective, that goes without saying lol. All music taste is subjective. But whether it's more contemporary or not does mean something – 911 is a better single choice than FW because it's more contemporary. Free Woman sounds like a 2011 single.
