I think we all know who is spewing the propaganda in this thread already :triggered:

glad this was AP and will get closed

FYI: it's not divisive to acknowledge the FACT that everyone has unconscious bias against people who don't look, act, and sound like themselves.

What ur saying is true but on the flip side it's also very popular now the idea that prejudice is practically exclusively a white ppl thing like if white ppl are all prejudice and everyone else isn't

On topic, it's not surprising someone like Trump would be against this. He doesn't acknowledge obvious racism almost ever nevermind less obvious things like how white ppl benefit from the system systemically (as a general rule)

The only part i dissagree with is that you are forced to say that all white people contribute racism

It's not really an opinion when you say that calling out the white supremacy ideology which is a huge problem in America is "division propaganda" when Mr Trump is the founder of division. There's a difference between morality and politics, when morality gets in the way your political views are irrelevant. And people are not crazy or insane for pointing it out to you that you are losing your humanity and ability to see people as what they are, people.

I agree that there is a difference between morality and politics. But I do think that "educating" white people into thinking they are inherently racists is purely evil. Just logically alone.

Treating every individual as the smallest single minority is much more humane to me, than putting all in one group as "evil racists whites" ...if you can't see that :ohno:

Well these trainings actually do work. They improve the morale and efficiency of the workplace. There’s ways that we can take it further but there is definitely a positive difference when these programs are implemented.

No ❤️ Those trainings never address systemic racism and only inaccurately label it as interpersonal problems. Its not gonna work if the society isn’t fixed first. It’s just an excuse to look good PR wise and scold employees.

You made a big deal about how you’re tolerant of different opinions, and that’s @alsemanche’s opinion so what’s the problem? :oprah:

Because I don't think it's a racist decision... it's literally an anti-racist decision.

I don't think you are an evil person, you probably do what you think is right, based on what you think is true and perceive to be true, but so do I.

I haven't seen one bit about being evil but what I read is that there is a "privilege" that white people living in America should acknowledge in order to finally be less racism. And I don't think I should give you many examples of the different treatments that caucasians get instead of african-americans. Honestly, it breaks my heart to the core....when I hear an african-american gets jail for life for weed while a caucasian has been caught for murder and gets 20 years...another that comes to mind is an african-american cashing a check at the bank and gets shot by the police, no reason why...but police gets away with it. I think it is very important that caucasians, as you might be yourself, do not feel defensive but instead SUPPORTIVE towards the minorities who are suffering immensely. If you could in your heart just open up and understand how it must feel like in their shoes...
