It makes sense that Biden called Buttigieg and asked for his support. He probably personally called Bernie too. What are we even taking about here? There was no "promises" made. Stop making up stories to support your narrative. From the link you posted "President Barack Obama spoke to Pete Buttigieg after he announced that he was dropping out of the race. Biden was on the call as well." Main word there is AFTER. I would throw glitter on it if I could. You yourself are calling Bionic a liar with that link. "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -Martin Luther King Jr.

bionic 50,111
I would give Pete another chance in future (probably not until he has more notable experience though...going from mayor of a 100k town to president is crazy) and he was one of my initial favorite candidates. But the way his campaign suddenly dissolved is transparent as @StarstruckIllusion has explained

He needs to govern in a different way that doesnât say dumb **** like âMedicare for all who want it.â Yeah bc someone who has cancer just wants to die slowly and painfully for no reason đ The FF snapped when they said anyone over 35 can run, bc itâs about your ideas and your ability to actually secure them... the presidency isnât a one man job anyway 4 minutes ago, bionic said: Peak US politics was the Democratic Party establishment turning against Mike Bloomberg for cutting out the middle man and running himself instead of paying a corporate Dem to run on his behalf Did they really tho? I mean Elizabeth Warren killed him so brutally, youâd be a fool to defend him. If it wasnât for her, theyâd probably never have spoke ill of him. He was allowed to speak at the Dem Clownvention and heâs still gonna raise coin for Biden so idk x2

So basically you don't know what or if Obama promised anything to Pete. You are just assuming and asking everyone to assume the same thing. Reread what Bionic posted. He clearly states the Obama called Pete and promised him a cabinet position to drop out of the primaries and that is why Pete sold out on his campaign and why Bionic doesn't trust him . Your article says the phone call happens after Pete dropped out. That alone disproves everything mentioned in Bionics post. Pete didn't quit or sell out on his campaign because of some phone call. There is two stories that use the same same words but mean two completely different things which you used confuse and provide disinformation. "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -Martin Luther King Jr.

Better than nothing, or telling people not to assume nothing happened. Heâs the King of the Dems. He doesnât have to explicitly endorse someone with words, he can just use his actions to do so. The article explained how. He said he wants to stay neutral but clearly heâs gone against that, and he isnât stupid either. So Iâve misread the article... minor mistake regarding everything above. Pete still sold his campaign out. It might be gross to Bionic but tbh Bernie shoulda played more politics like that to get his + the peopleâs goals done. Itâs worse imo for a majority opinionated person to do it bc itâs clearly more selfish than not. Heâs doing it for him, not the people. Peteâs still a mess in a whole lot of others ways tho so really... nobody moved. nobody screamed.
