"the edge of glory", "you and i" and "born this way" instantly take me back to summer circa 2011 when i'd hang out at my aunt and uncle's beach house and we'd watch the mtv music video channel.  this kinda spurred my obsession w pop culture and art and it was such an exciting time of discovery 4 me hehehehe ugh miss that

now i live laugh LOVEEE "gypsy", "highway unicorn" and "dance in the dark"

Hair for me, it came out around the time I was coming out to my family and at first they weren't happy with it would call me a freak and all that crap saying I was going to hell for being gay so this song helped me a lot through that time. My family loves me btw lol we couldn't be closer and they have come to terms with everything and have accepted me for me thanks to Gaga of course. But every time I hear the song just brings back those times and I usually always bust down or get really emotional like watery eyes and lump in my throat its weird how it still happens after all these years but I'm as free as my Hair now.

Joanne, because it reminds me of my mom.

Same. One day it just hit me and I started crying. My mom had cancer (she's fine now) and that song made me think of how I felt as a child when she had it.

Most definitely Born This Way. But I have to say 911 hit close to home, and reminded me of a conversation I had with Gaga 4 years ago when I basically burst into tears telling her about depression and she comforted me. I know she most definitely doesn't remember me, but I like to think that somehow informed her writing of the song in some small way.

Hair. I just remember playing that song over and over and over again on my cheap Yamaha piano when I was 14. No friends really but I also did not felt isolated because i was experiencing what acceptance felt like through her music, and that for the first time ever. Ily Gaga. :kara:

ARTPOP.

I can feel her passion and pain singing this song. It's really underrated.
