FfFfFfFF 58,134
A mountain lion baby boom has occurred this summer in the Santa Monica Mountains and Simi Hills west of Los Angeles. Thirteen kittens were born to five mountain lion mothers between May and August, according to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. It’s the first time so many mountain lion dens have been found within such a short period of time during the 18 years in which the region’s cougar population has been studied by the National Park Service. Franch Toast 27,737
Okay, that's adorable, even though I'd be terrified if I ever encountered one in the wild. She/Her/Hers
ChvVolk 2,508
I live in Lake Forest, CA. It has a lot of wild life and lately the coyotes have been out and about attacking people and animals in broad daylight and they have closed down so many hiking trails because the mountain lions have been coming down towards people and even attacked a 3 year old. I have only see coyotes running around the Target parking lot but I hope I never see a mountain lion while I'm leaving from work in the AM
