ChvVolk 2,026
I grew up listening to dance music before pop. I just cannot get into the basic sound of "edm" that so many artists release. Basic drops, no atmosphere and just so empty sounding. This album was the first Pop dance album I've ever listened to, only because Benny played Acapella at rave i was at in 2010. I checked out the album and fell in love. Its dance music done right. So much soul, so much emotion and her voice just fit so well. Benny AND David do not make music like this anymore. It doesn't even sound like anything David has done. The production is so well done, you compare this to Turn Me On by David and Nicki and you immediately hear how basic and cookie cutter that song is compared to what he was able to do on this record.
