It's lauded as an ambitious project that you don't find many young artists attempting nowadays. It's also hardly a flop. Ppl don't even have the receipts to describe it as a flop, yet everyone uses that word as a definition of ARTPOP... That's only what OGHs wanted to call it. Smother Em Eh 7,095 Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 ARTPOP is iconic for sure and has given us a pop era like no other but I don’t think it has as much significance outside of the fanbase as people think. It’s a decent album, not bad but not amazing either. It does have some highlights though. TFM & Chromatica are better albums! BTW as well. Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views! BABYL0N 3,157 Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 ARTPOP era and the whole theme was really brilliant back then and NO DOUBT it had an impact on pop culture and the sound of many songs were ahead of their time, but looking back at the album it feels like randomly thrown together and by time after hearing all the scrapped demos for this album I feel like it really was going to be even messier I‘ve never hated a Gaga album I respect all the hard work for each album but the album it self is my least favorite one by her, however I do believe she will definitely bring out an ARTPOP Act II in future someday Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
