We also don't know (and shouldn't) about her health and if she had other issues like endometriosis or anything of the sort that couldve made her more at risk for miscarriage. A miscarriage is something very traumatizing for a lot of women and they never share it unless they want to and so is pregnancy! I remember my aunts always hiding their first months during pregnancy to people. It's kinda like if someone wanted you to share about what's going on with your liver, or eye sight, or if your plastic surgery went well and what kind you did and then pressuring you into answering in front of millions of people. She was clearly uncomfortable and Ellen just kept on going. Horrible. Spoiler "empathy" had "been implemented" I just have to point out the choice of words is really so Mariah, and it made me just admire how eloquent and interestingly mimi speaks (her way with words shows up in her lyrics too, I love her). One back then(during the interview) and one right before memoirs was released. That’s why she was so unhappy during the promotion of that album.
