its just americans getting offended over everything, no one really cares in real life especially since she grew up around this culture and is very close to the black community

Isn't she at some kind of festival in the UK where this is normal?

I feel like it's only really cultural appropriation if you're using a culture for some type of gain or as some kind of trend, whether it's intentional or not.

Tbf, people need to recognise that objectively cultural appropriation involves using a marginalised culture’s aesthetic in order to profit from it. This is not that. It can be insensitive to some but I wouldn’t personally classify it as cultural appropriation.

It's not "new" and it's mostly being done by Americans. People from Jamaica who have been speaking out about this are able to differentiate between celebration of culture and exploitation of culture.
