The bias is real... look at it this way smile is a very formulaic, simple pop album with little depth and songs that could fit on teenage dream or prism. cfn is an experimental remix album that gives the songs a new vibe and creates a club-like atmosphere it’s all about perspective

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Most of the songs fail to be a good club song because of weird production choices imo. Turning on the radio at 4AM will guarantee better dance-club music on most radio stations. And if you want a good non-stop album I’d suggest Confessions On a Dancefloor non-stop What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂

I’m telling you, if Katy had released this album she would have gotten DRAGGED it's really not but to each their own. clearly katy can't cuz she released something like smile and that's exactly why she's getting dragged. no growth no substance no nothing 26 minutes ago, FfFfFfFF said: Well it looks like there aren't many DJ mix appreciators in Dua's fanbase, pop forums or youtube given the dislikes on some songs and the general perception of the album. ofc they don't lol its a bunch of pop stans who are listening to each song separately to compare it to the original

I sometimes listen to new albums in suffle, sometimes in full, sometimes just certain songs. If a project is good enough, you'll love it either way. In fact I actually believe most people listened to the album from start to finish.

In the end, it's EDM and electronic, remix albums aren't that unusual for pop fans.
