Truth is, pop music is youth-oriented. Hustle all you want, but it's HARD for a female pop star in their mid-thirties to have a solo #1 hit (or even top 5) in 2020. I should clarify: I'm sure she'll do more pop records in the future (albeit I think it will be at least another 3-4 years). But like you said, I do think this is probably her last chance at dominating or having another imperial era in pop music, solely due to her age. Yes, Madonna had a couple hits once she hit 40, but let's not act like she dominated pop music like her younger peers did during the same eras (Britney, for example).
