1. Katy Perry - Smile

2. The Weeknd - After Hours

3. Gaga - Chromatica

After the singles, I wasn’t really feeling it but once I heard it all together, it worked. It’s the first Katy album where I like 95% of the songs. Resilient is probably my least fave

i’m gonna buy the album so dont roast me for listening to the leaks pls 

for me, i’m gonna need more time to decide what my fave of the year is. honestly i loved almost every song, so it’s up there but it has stiff competition (chromatica, sawayama, FN, etc) but i’ll have a clearer perspective the more i’ll listen. i dont wanna jump to conclusions from first listen tbh

I'm def buying the album now. Kind of upset i missed out on the alternate covers 

Smile/Ungodly hour/ Sawayama and Lianne La Havas are my top albums of the year.

I’m glad you liked it!!! I’m excited to listen  I’m happy to hear that it sounds more put together as a whole!! I was a bit worried about that. 
I wonder what my favorite album will end up being from this year... right now Future Nostalgia and Folklore are fighting for the #1 spot. But holy hell, we’ve gotten so many good albums this year.

Sis i wish i could’ve snatched one but i’m traveling soon so i wasn’t gonna risk not being here when it arrives
