Never said they weren’t, I’m just sick of people placing blame on people when there’s video proving otherwise. It’s like when people started looting & there was video of black people looting Target but somehow the conversation changed to it being white people who were looting & giving BLM a bad name.

Why are you so defensive when white people are called out? Stop trying to place all of the blame on the one black woman who was mentioned. Everyone in that video made their own choice. This is not representative of the movement and does not mean it as a whole has been “radicalized.”

On a somewhat related note, I've never understood why the looting was associated with a political movement. The intent of looting always seemed to be opportunistic individuals taking advantage of chaos, as opposed to being a political statement. Further, I feel like the demographic of looters is probably way more closely related to socio-economic status than anything else.

What point are you trying to make exactly? Just because a black woman was behind this doesn't say anything about BLM. It really doesn't have anything to do with my original point to add that someone involved wasn't white.

Yes what happened is wrong and I dont think anyone here is saying this is acceptable. But we are saying that this kind of behavior is not what BLM supports. Im sure there is black people in that crowd, but its usually white people who go out of their way to "defend" black people and I dont think there is anything wrong with pointing that out. And I have no problem pointing out when BLM does something wrong, and I do have some criticism of them.

I agree with you. I’ve never seen looting as anything other than taking advantage of a situation for personal benefit which is why I disagree with looting. It serves no other purpose than personal benefit. No one else is benefitting from you stealing a TV, in fact I would argue people are negatively impacted by people looting because it only gives republicans more political ammunition.

Black people did loot, but BLM protestors did not, they spoke against it, and even went out of their way to stop it. But there was alot of white BLM protestors who were looting and doing crazy things because they think its fun and cool when they are making black people look bad. There is videos of BLM stopping white people from looting. Alot of white Anarchists joined BLM and started doing things BLM does not agree with, and some were social media figures like Jake Paul.
