I didn't find any of them that great but I'm tasteless:bear:

maybe Sci-Fi's just not your thing and it's ok. Like Horror is not my thing at all so no matter which movie, they all feels the same to me.

That's difficult. It's between alien, matrix, and interstellar.

I couldn't stand avatar and inception.

@EconomyΒ Yea, I was wondering about that. Is the Avatar in the poll the live-action of the Nickelodeon cartoon? Or is it a whole other movie that I may have forgotten about?Β :derpga:

Edit: Nvm. @raragagaΒ reminded me of that movie.

yea, the Hunger Games is something most people will remember. It's too dystopian for my liking, but I like the drama of it. Not to mention the action aspect.

The 5th Element is something I was very captured by when I was a kid. I kinda almost forgot Total Recall but you reminded me. There's something about the 80s/90s Sci-Fi movies that looks slick and stylish. I guess that's why they make a bigger impression on me than the ones that come after.

The total recall I saw was a more modern one made in the 2000s I think 2010s Actually

oh dear God, I kinda forgot about that movie.Β :messga:

I actually like that movie though.Β :ladyhaha:Β I wouldn't say it's cinematic history although they're the first truly IMAX movie imo.

I actually think the movie was really great and we'll done

Β

What makes it seem mediocre is the level of hype it got. They raised the bar so high it made it harder to impress

Β

If it was released and advertised as a regular movie it's actually a dam impressive movie

I loved GattacaΒ :ohno:

Everyone I know thought it was dumb

I like that one too. I have it

Β

Along with Hunger Games, 5th element and Equals I wanted to add it to honourable mentions but it's not letting me edit

I have not watched that. I'm holding off remakes coz I'm scared I might be biased when I see it since movies when I watched when I was younger had that certain nostalgia that they can't recreate.
