It's too dystopian for my liking, but I like the drama of it. Not to mention the action aspect. The 5th Element is something I was very captured by when I was a kid. I kinda almost forgot Total Recall but you reminded me. There's something about the 80s/90s Sci-Fi movies that looks slick and stylish. I guess that's why they make a bigger impression on me than the ones that come after. I'm holding off remakes coz I'm scared I might be biased when I see it since movies when I watched when I was younger had that certain nostalgia that they can't recreate.
