I was about to ask :selena:

I get that if you listen to only the singles you won't find that much of a correlation between them but she's already said the album as a whole is supposed to tell a story.

You can't judge it just by looking at a couple of songs imo

We have heard like 8/12 songs..

That Slant thing is actually a satire magazine about hipster (shallow) culture, just so you know :yennefer:

whether it's satire magazine or "serious / official", I still don't get the hype over reviews :toofunny: it's not like it has much of an impact on the GP anyway, it's just some useless ammo for stans to fight more on twitter

We have heard:

-Never Really Over

-Teary Eyes

-Daisies

-Resilient

-Smile

-Champagne Problems

-HIH

-What Makes A Woman

She gave us 0:30-1:00 long snippets and that a more than enough to judge an album.

What's so experimental about Witness? It's a basic pop record with some woke lyrics there and there

I agree. Even on a popstar level, it was a pretty standard pop album.

I'm sorry but no, you can't judge an entire album by 30 seconds long LQ snippets? I-

So they are mad she didn't experiment but when she did with Witness, they gave her 3 stars too:triggered:

Was witness really an experiment? A sia wrote lead, a Migos collab, a Nicki minaj collab... I :triggered:

Nevermind you didn't exactly say witness was experimental lmao. But still:triggered:

Oh so you've heard the whole album ? :selena:

Basically half of it is her past singles which have no connection with each other... No matter how cohesive the rest is, there are a bunch of standalone songs thrown in
