This type of thinking is problematic on so many levels, if he wants to convince himself that surpressing his nature is better for him than let him make that mistake, but putting it out there as the right thing to do is toxic af. Knife 6,853 Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 There's something so tragic about a vulnerable young person being poisoned by their family through religion to believe that their sexuality is the root cause of all their problems in life, conflating being gay with a whole host of vices as he mentioned in the video. It's so sick and twisted how people could believe pushing someone towards such lengths of self-hatred could actually be in their best interest.
