It was clearly not meant to be taken as a serious attack, people can’t differentiate between real insults and jokes anymore, it’s so disappointing. Ellen was clearly not degrading Sofia for her accent, she was just poking fun with her friend. I am German and German accents always get made fun of and guess what, IT’S FUNNY!!
