Hopefully if artistis are dropping it's because the VMAs have dictated which artists are staying and which ones are going, cause we all know if given the option, Gaga would drop. That's not necessarily a bad thing though because of course the safety and health of everyone comes first, but knowing how serious Gaga is taking COVID, I wouldn't be surprised if the VMAs asked if she still wanted to perform and she said no.

They’re talking about J Balvin and Roddy Rich. I was just looking through the VMAs website and noticed that they’ve quietly removed them from the performers’ list: http://www.mtv.com/vma/performers 

 

I’m guessing J Balvin getting COVID has nixed his appearance? But then what song are the BEP gonna perform? (I was thinking they’d for sure do “Ritmo.”) No explanation for it yet.

At the performers page on MTV J Balvin (whos recovering from COVID) and Roddy Rich have been quietly removed from the lineup.

Gaga is their biggest name as of now and I'm sure MTV will try their best to keep her. At first they only said multiple stages across NYC, but now it includes LA too. Her dancers and band are quarantined and Richy is very hyped at the performance. Plus Gaga hyped the performance yesterday.

However if things go down, I can see Gaga doing a pre recorded tape and just accepting awsrds from her home. Or worst case scenario, MTV postpones or cancel.

If there are going to be performances in LA, i remember MTV saying there would be a small audience allowed, could it be possible to watch this happen live?
