I think we'll still get an Ari and Gaga performance, but it's going to be from LA, not NYC, which is what I've been thinking all along – notice that the article mentions some of the performances will be staged around LA as well. This is safer as it avoids the need to travel (even on a private plane, there is still interaction with crew) or for Ari and Gaga to stay in a hotel in NY. Plus, there's that whole NY 14-day quarantine regulation. 

I imagine they will film it at an undisclosed location. I hope it will be live, but I'll understand if it's prerecorded. Health and safety come first.

That's a terrible idea. There's no way to enforce that the fans will actually stay in isolation for a week. The only way this would work would be to do another rapid-results test before letting people inside the performance area.

Yeah, this is the type of shenanigans that MTV should be shutting down. I understand they want a good, fun show, but being strict ensures it can happen at all. We're so close, let's not get messy now
