The video that is showed to us, the short one, shows a man as a thug for punching the racist guy which is the reaction racist guy wanted to get to portray the man who punched him as a stereotype racists are feeding us our whole life. 

 

I'm sure that being a POC is hard and I will never learn what thats like but I truly believe that violence is not the way.

But you are refering to the punch as the person 'snapped' which indicates that the behaviour is undesirable (hence he "snapped") yet on most posts on this thread I see approval of the act like it's something we should all resort to, which is not something I approve, same as racism. 

We are not all the same and maybe you need to express your anger towards racism in that way, but I don't and I hope you all can respect my opinion. 

I'm not a violent person, I hate violence, I was beat up numerous times and every time I see someone punching someone my heart sinks because you hurt your soul when you punch someone and that is not what I want for POC. I have a huge heart and place in it for anyone that suffers.

This is a crazy thread. I don't understand why it was here in the first place, and I don't understand why it's still here, but seeing as it is, here's what I think.

First of all, let's deal with the guy who got hit. Based on the evidence of the video, he is a stupid f-----g p---k, and his physique and the way he was hanging out of those bars would suggest that he fancied himself as a hard man. Well, he's been put right on that score, and very publicly as well. My heart bleeds for the f----r.

Now let's talk about the guy who hit him. He could have killed the guy. One punch is all too often all it takes. The punch mightn't kill you, but you fall in a heap and hit your head and it's goodnight. So now where are we ? We have one dead guy and one guy whose life has probably just gone down the toilet. Fantastic.

He shouldn't have thrown that punch. I understand why he did it, but he didn't have the right to do it, and if the guy had died or been seriously injured I expect the law would show no mercy.

Sorry, but no, punching someone is not alright if it's not in selfdefense. Period.

Okay gurl, you know what, whatever. You'll never get it, and you'll never even try to get it because you think your moral standing point is superior only because it stands unchallenged by racists. Newsflash: you cannot fight hate with "kind words". 

The world is not Chromatica, humans are not kindness punks. YOU may be living in a place like that inside your head, but others often do not get to. What makes you racist is that you refuse to understand that you are privileged enough to be able to think like that & that you are trying to impose that on others on a thread about racism.
