I just don't like that word and find it ignorant and shallow. I am someone who also hates the word "glad", so this is just me nitpicking, of course. The word just doesn't sit well with me, but especially while she is describing her wanting of a huge all encompassing thing as love and she also says a great big thing of, "All I Ever Wanted Was Love". Like, she holds so much to love but will in such a small time resort it to being "stupid" so jarringly, but I think that is exactly HER point too. I don‘t think that she means that love is 'stupid' but more like "give that damn love", like kids when they say "give me that stupid toy" it's sort of like, my past is an unfinished painting..
