I've always thought Miley was a bit of a trend hopper: following the curve of popular music, instead of defining it. She can be entertaining in other ways, and she's Hannah Montana + Billy Ray's daughter -- so I think people gloss over her shallow artistic integrity.

Seeing her denounce another era, especially after changing her mind on those additional EPs last year, confirms this for me. Still a good vocalist though

Gaga does it all the time. During the Joanne era she compared electronic music to fastfood and didn't want to record without being together or work through computers. Now she's talking about her love for electronic music again and recording with Black Pink without even meeting them. People change and their opinions too.

You didn’t even get the quote right hun - in 2013 Gaga said “pop music is like junk food”. She didn’t trashtalk any one genre though. She was criticising corruption in the industry, not musical culture. Not sure why you brought up Blackpink either, hun. Miley literally dissed her own work, as well as the entire hip hop genre, something Gaga has never done.
