That is your right I already told in my first comment that I am not American, I cannot vote, and I don't particularly care for whoever wins the election either. I used to, since, like, freedom for everyone and all that, but honestly I lost all hope in politics worldwide. I just don't like gaslighting, and feel the need to call it out whenever I see it. And I expect Democrats to be, y'know, better than Republicans but I can't see where that line is anymore. So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted. As I have seen so far, his record is not very bright. Trump is objectively worse, I know that, but if I was an American, it would still take a lot for me to vote for Biden BECAUSE you all are being so freaking horrible with the gaslighting and that, personally, is extremely annoying because you are blaming progressives when it is the party body itself that is at fault, and you all know that. With "democrats" like that, and with republicans, I'd rather leave the country to one where my vote will actually count. That is what I am planning to do in my own country right now - voting for the opposition is pointless because the ruling party is stealing votes and the opposition is doing literally nothing about it, and why would I vote for a party that is SAID to be on my side but actually isn't? So, no. I do not believe it is that simple when DNC did quite literally EVERYTHING in their power to squash progressives down only for y'all to act like progressives owe you their votes. Biden did not win a fair race, and for you to completely disregard that and go on as if y'all are pure as snow is honestly not cool. TL:DR - "Not Trump" is still not enough. I respect your opinion, but I can tell you're not American. You're missing the nuance that can only come when someone actually lives in a place and doesn't just read about it online or watch international news. (That's no shade! We can only be privy to, well, what we're privy to.) Why? 1. Leaving the States is very difficult for most of us. It's relatively easy in Europe and S. America (assuming you're from one or the other?). We have to live with whatever mess we're stuck with. So saying that we should leave the country sounds cool, but it just isn't feasible for the vast majority of Americans. 2. There are more Dems than Reps. We SHOULD win the office. And if we can if we galvanize across our party - and quit bickering about the efficacy of Biden? We can finally breath again as a nation. No, Biden is NOT perfect. Guess what? No one is. He's far and away (times 100,00,000,000) the stronger of the two candidates. I realize you're rejecting this premise. But, again, you don't live in the US. You don't know how terrible it is here. 3. You have no idea what you're talking about in terms of the DNC. That was 2016. In 2020, Biden dominated the primaries from Super Tuesday on. Utter domination. Frankly, we were all surprised! But there was no conspiracy this go around. I know Bernie fans hate admitting this, but it's true. Maybe the moderates felt more compelled to get out and vote this past year? In fact, that's exactly what I think happened. Despite Twitter, there are far more moderates in the Dem party than Progressives (or like me, half moderate/half progressive). Progressives make the most noise, but Moderates are the biggest left voting bloc. This was they year they chose to vote more. 4. Progressives and moderates work better as a team than as adversaries. We lean on other to keep the other in check. Moderates can get too conservative. Progressives too "out there". Let's yoke up together and produce a new crop of Democrat. Seems better than to try and do it alone. 5. I don't think it's that moderates feel progressives "owe" them votes! I think moderates feel progressive owe themselves the vote! The ONLY way progressive legislation gets enacted is having a liberal in the White House. It's very simple math, really!

This is much bigger than some internet discussion, imo. That’s why it doesn’t matter to me much. Because my efforts are fruitless.
