I actually love beards and facial hair but in his case it just doesn't suit him And U should of seen during the height of Covid when he didn't get a haircut in like forever and looked like he was wearing a mop Ugh. I'm so glad I didn't waste my life with him. I'll have to go with Macron

I don't know enough to say she should or shouldn't be I gave you my impression based on the article u gave me and the information I have so far that I'm not seeing as big a connection as your comment made it sound And I never defended it. I literally just said she shouldn't have covered anything up Tbh I feel like you implicitly trust politicians on a different level than I do. I do not trust them at all and find them all very very suspect. Her position on climate change alone is enough for me to not trust her at all to make decisions in the best interest of Canadians, and this pushes it over the edge. There is a growing issue of white nationalism in Canada, so i think it is more than necessary to have increased scrutiny about these kinds of things and hold the people elected to serve us accountable. That is hardly something frivolous like ‘cancel culture’. https://www.cbc.ca/cbcdocspov/features/white-nationalism-and-right-wing-extremism-arent-new-to-canada https://www.vice.com/en_ca/article/7kpxxb/canada-among-very-worst-white-supremacist-countries-report

But if you think it was not sexist then nothing I can comment on I will agree with you As far as we know he is straight but that only makes the possibility all the more likely. Straight men being influenced by sex on promotional decisions is not exactly a rare thing. Hypothetically if that was indeed the case how would noticing that be sexist? I wouldn't be the one treating her differently for her sex that would be on Trudeau not me. Calling it out makes me sexist? But again it was a generalized comment. Its just very obvious he has a bit of an obsession with her for whatever reason sexual or not. If it was with a man to the same degree it would still raise eyebrows just the same

I think they constantly play political games and aren't fully honest at all times even the best of them But I also think ppl holding them to unhumanly possibly standards also on makes the problem worse. Even Regular mistakes anybody would make when it's a celebrity or politician that does them they are dragged to hell. If I was in their shoes if try to brush things off too or avoid them I'm not saying what she did about hiding her family connections whatever they may have been to the Holocaust was right. But I'm not surprised she did. A lot of people would not be able to look past it and see her for her as an individual instead of her family As for climate change that's a whole other argument and topic that I can't debate. I don't know her policies on this

Im not sure straight men give promotions to women bcs they find them attractive, I'd like to know if there's any data or research that u base that opinion from. 4 minutes ago, Economy said: But again it was a generalized comment. I don't know her policies on this So politicians are shady, but they shouldn’t be held to high standards? I truly don’t understand. This is not a simple mistake, her choices will effect the future of the country. It is essential we hold her and all politicians to the highest standards. She didn’t just hide her past, she openly praised her grandfather on several occasions. But I will leave it at that.

I can understand that but it still doesn't make sense but maybe because you are bi and u think everyone else is bi Him being obsessed with her (or at least that's how it's appeared to me) doesn't mean she isn't qualified or that she didn't earn it. I never said she was some ordinary person and only got promoted cuz Trudeau likes her And it doesn make sense. An obsession doesn't have to be sexual. It could still happen with a man Think when ppl think someone is cool or everything they wanna be like and get get infatuated or obsessed or stockerish... It doesn't have to be sexual and a straight person can have it to the same sex Again, I never said his obsession was sexual. I said he appears to have an obsession. It may or may not be sexual. It could even be that I'm the one imagining it But long story short I was never directly implying what u think I was implying (tho it is one of possibilities I considered but not exclusively)

I can't really argue on something I don't know much about. I know of her work history I don't know of her personal history, or beliefs etc U could be totally right my first response is just the impression I was getting so far based on article u gave me and what u said that's it And as for ur question about standards... I do think they need to be accountable yes but I also equally think some ppl are too unfair on certain things with politicians and celebrities. And I do equally think that does not exactly help the tendency of them trying to hide mistakes, it only encourages it when ppl never accept apologies or blow some stuff out if proportion. I agree that ppl play manipulative political games to smear ppl they don’t like or further their own careers but I don’t think that should effect seeking integrity, justice, accountability. But public opinion is certainly a balancing act, but I also believe if someone is truly honest and has moral integrity, most people will be able to see through the bullsh*t and lies (I naively hope lol).
