I’m an artist myself and mental illness is so debilitating that it sometimes makes us completely insensitive that we can’t even fathom creating something. We know how much Gaga loves to perform. But we know the stress she goes through when doing so. Expressing that she doesn’t want to put herself through that again is completely expected and understandable.
