God Taylor haters are so annoying

“Her music’s for kids” is the most absurd argument. She’s been writing straight out of her diary since she was like 15, and as someone who’s about her age (30!), it’s like we all grew up together. With the exception of a few songs, she makes music for people around her age who are going through similar things

And folklore’s lyrics are incredible. I’m convinced that who can’t recognize how great that album is is just illiterate or has a weird personal vendetta against her

Personally speaking i don't hate Taylor Swift, its just her music isn't my taste. Also, i agree on her fans being extremely annoying. They insert her into every narrative, no matter what achievement any other artist makes (especially women) Taylor has always achieved more. They constantly attack any other female who they look at as a threat, for example T Swift released multiple versions of the same album in different formats yet Gaga released 6-7 copies of Chromatica with merch bundles and they instantly called her out forgetting what there fave has done.... Also, i'll never see her as a "gay icon" i respect her activism that she's done however she'll never be up there with Gaga, Beyonce and Cher etc.

Yes, not everyone will like her music. Her music IS targeted for easy listening top 40 radio aka kids and soccer moms. Once I started working in an office I was shookened at how all my white 40 y/o coworkers love Taylor Swift and go with their 13 year old daughters to her concerts. Is that bad? Not at all.

imo Folkore was boring. There are countless of other folk indie artists like Sunflower Bean who do that type of music better. She's just a pop star - folklore to me was her attempt at joining the Billie Eilish whisper pop trend.

If you're on a gaga stan website some of these stans like Gaga for art and experimental ****. Taylor Swift is plain as slice bread. She's not revolutionary. Maybe high quality bread because she's talented. Not for me though. That album where she tried to be a baddie or that song that goes "me, me, me!" lmao bye, I cringe at that.

I agree. Everyone can dislike whatever they want but trashing someone's work and entitle "opinion" is not cute. Taylor is really talented & an amazing business woman, a "basic" pop star that grabs everyone's attention with every move she does 14 yrs into her career...really powerful.
