I should clarify, the scandemic has been coming for a while. It was just convenient that it could also be used to destroy the Trump presidency.

Imagine if every country in the world conspired to fake a pandemic just because they all hate trump that bad :poot:

I don’t think the people claiming it’s fake to make him look bad realize that doesn’t make him sound any better haha

I’m not trying to make him sound better, I suppose the pandemic is irrelevant beside the fact that democrats have taken advantage of it. There are powers far greater and more sinister than Donald Trump. That’s why we have Covid-19. That’s why there’s an international fraud. But several countries are keen to it. I forget which but an African country swabbed a bunch of papayas and sent them in for COVID testing and they came back as positive. He addressed his nation about the fraud it all is. There is a technocratic fact-checking propaganda machine that’s scrubs all this off the internet and destroys the credibility of the people who speak out against it

You are all too close-minded to realize how deeply we have been manipulated by Facebook, Google, George Soros, Bill Gates, Dr. Fauci, the CIA, etc. Everything we see is propaganda. Frankly Donald Trump and Joe Biden are probably both intertwined with all of it. But Biden is completely complacent.

It’s not that we’re close-minded, it’s that you’re completely out of touch with reality

This reminds me, the other day I overheard a man describe Trump as 'very intelligent, but a loose cannon'

How the hell could you ever describe that man as intelligent :saladga:

But the woman he was talking to was even worse, and I'm really hoping she was just quoting something someone else said because holy **** it was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. :laughga: She said 'Trump did more for America for Covid than Obama did in 8 years'

Now I'm really hoping I just misheard her or she was just quoting someone because :deadbanana:

Do you feel him sir?

Cool job kid. Let's compare several corrupt people who have maybe swabbed a hundred papayas to the 170,000+ people who have died in the US and the 775,000+ that have died worldwide.

I really don't have the energy to get into this, but it's people like you that literally hold humanity back. Did China mess up and lie, absolutely. The government of China should be held accountable, not the poor citizens who suffered due to it. Did Donal Trump take information he knew to be false or potentially dangerous and flaunt it to the American people anyway to better the economy, his wallet and his reelection campaign. Yes, this is factual. He has and continues to downplay the virus at every corner and has made our country one of the most devastated. Are there lots of folk and countries at fault, of course, but Donald Trump is objectively one of the worst leaders in the world when it comes to Covid (and of course, almost any other measure).

Get a clue and smarten up for your own benefit and the world's.

might be an outlier poll but i'm still convinced this is gonna be an uphill battle and dems are gonna have to get lucky to win.

i mean... imagine if the coronavirus didn't happen... i feel like there would be no chance in hell trump would lose, despite everything he's done apart from that.

so good luck, see everyone on election day and i hope biden wins, but i'm not gonna be surprised if he loses because it's the USA.

As a foreign person, how 46% of registered American people can still vote for him bugs me.

I get that some educated people might still have strong conservative/far right point of views and might agree with his actions ... but for the rest, at which point so many people agree to be fed with bullshit ?

I'm looking in from way outside. I'm not qualified to comment on what life is really like in the US, and why a person might choose to vote for Trump, but here are a few observations from the outside anyway.

Trump has no manners, no class and he appeals to people's worst instincts. He does this in a studied way. It is shockingly cynical, and it is deeply saddening that it works for him.

He surely CAN win this election. I remember 2016 and how he was hit with setback after setback, scandal after scandal (there was one quite close to polling day, was it pussygate ?), and he still won. So he can win this one too.

Joe Biden looks like a bad candidate. Is he really the best the Democrats could do ? He is old and frail as opposed to old and vigorous, and he is uninspiring. A blind man could see that they needed a younger, stronger person to meet Trump head on, and they came up with Biden. I don't get it.

I think it is important for the whole planet that Trump is defeated. Hopefully the Democrats can run a strong campaign from this point on.

They’re not voting for what he does for them, they’re voting for what he does to hurt the people they don’t like. And there’s a huge number of people who have never succeeded at anything in life except being white, so they want to make sure white supremacy stays alive and well since it’s all they have to feel superior to someone

There’s also a lot of poor people who don’t view themselves as poor, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires—this is more common among white conservative people who are poor, so they vote in the interests of the rich because they think they’ll be part of that group someday

There are a lot of factors but all of them boil down to people being stupid and hateful

This is such a strong piece. Wow, thank you

I have a bad feeling Trump will be in office four more years and Mitch McConnell will remain Majority Leader. Heck, even if Mitch McConnell became Minority Leader...he'd still obstruct. The last year, specifically has been so draining with Republican "leadership" and it's beyond frustrating knowing that this is a minority-majority.

My worry is also that should the impossible happen and Biden/Harris come through, that not enough will change or be able to be changed depending on congressional demographics. Our country desperately needs deep-rooted, government changes.

Im surprised.

Still, Biden is still higher than Hillary in her peak.

FiveThirtyEight gives Trump almost a 1/3 probability of re-election. So almost the same as in 2016.

Still Trump needs to win back all of the 2016 states.

Michigan, Arizona and Florida dont look good for him.

I believe Biden can easily carry the rust belt and North Carolina.

Without voter suppression also Georgia.

It seems Texas will flip in 2024, Trump is only up for 1 or 2 points, and Biden even was leading in the beginning of July
