@Blown Away This is one of my fave Madonna singles ever. The lyrics, melody and vocals are so joyous and uplifting. It reminds me of the honeymoon stage of a relationship. And the 60's feel of the song is the icing on the cake. Too bad Madonna hates it because of Sean Penn.

@MingersPrayer Can you believe this was a single. Also the video with its 50s throw back. So indicative of the time and place where Madonna was the biggest artist in pop music. Heartwarming when you know it was Written for Sean Penn.

@nickkoko IMO, the weakest single from this album, but it's still great. Some of it falls flat but overall it's still a great song.

This must be one of the worst Madonna singles ever. The song is boring as hell, the instrumental never seems to get started. Then there's the vocals that are so goddamn awful that it's just grating to my ears. And on top of that the song is gassed up by everyone like it's some kind of masterpiece... Which makes me dislike it even more than I already do.

@monstertoronto A perfect ballad. Maybe her best and she is a queen of ballads. I would give it my second 11 if I had one. The dramatic pause in the middle is still effective.

@MingersPrayer In my top 5 all time favourite Madonna songs. Such beautiful melody & vocals. Power and honesty in the vocals. Madonna at her best with Patrick Leonard (see also Frozen & Like a Prayer). As it’s for a film score is has an epic quality - I love the unconventional set up. The last section “if I ran away” with the harmonies take me to another place. The Confessions tour version is unreal - I go to YouTube at least once a month to play it. This is my number 1 for the record. Look up the brilliant story behind the music on YouTube by Patrick Leonard and also the 7:25 piano version he’s performs. Breathtaking.

@nickkoko My favourite single of hers from the 80s. Everything about this song is awesome. I especially love the backing vocals during the bridge.
