@memomemome A somewhat rare overly socially conscious song in the early Madonna catalog (before she continued to lean into this more heavily especially with the all-issues Madame X). A lovely bridge and a fun way to end the album.

@nickkoko Fun closer to the album; very nostalgic.

@Ulisaax640 awful version and very different from the you can dance version. the vocals are fine, the drums are weak and soft. i wish it the you can dance version was the album version

@memomemome She really could put another #1 for this song, but given the sonic of the song around the time (I wanna dance with somebody) I think they decided to put out more her distinct sound

@MingersPrayer Not my favourite way to follow “live to tell”. I’ve never been able to get into this song - kind of silly but obviously was still successful esp with the follow up EP of remixes.

@nickkoko Fun song. Not as great as some of the previous song on the album but still a great listen and great to go back to.

@MingersPrayer Beautiful instrumentation & melody in the verses. An early indication of Madonnas strength of branding. Her vocals here show a new artist compared with those on The First Album & Like a Virgin. Great use of sampling.
