I understand your point, I'm just afraid of policing people's emotional reactions to this because of how it may hit.

I have a close friend whose cousin died in ICE custody. I would personally feel very uncomfortable asking her to subdue her emotional response to these news because it is undignified or because we shouldn't make light of someone's death. Her response to this is completely unsympathetic, maybe you would characterize it as "gross", and I don't think anyone has any right to tell her she should be silent and should just keep her feelings quiet, that feels a lot like gaslighting.

There's really no need for any of us to even speak on it. This is his family's business, not ours. His backwards and deadly presidency is our business though.

Like how my grandpa's blood pressure and heart meds are late being delivered by mail. Killing people with covid wasn't enough, now prescription meds aren't being delivered on time. More people will die. And if he and the GOP get their way and kill Obamacare, even more people will die. And if he gets a second term and guts social security and medicare? Even MORE will die.

Well, nowhere did I say I was glad his brother was dead, I even said “RIP” so I don’t know why the mods would be coming after me for saying people shouldn’t judge people’s reactions when they were clearly affected by these monsters.
