COMMENTS:

@Lucas What an underrated track! Although the chorus could be stronger, the lyrics are great, the verses where she quotes all her hits/albums are ICONIC as hell and Nas' part is an absolute slayage.

@whoresup Another nice song, not very often she looks back over her past works and it works here. The rap feature deffo hypes the song up too and it works.

@selenalavigneThis song is just super empowering. Love it!!

@Blown Away I don't like this one. The production is not my cup of tea, both the instrumental and the vocal production. Nas' part is nice, but doesn't fit the song at all. The naming of her past singles is cute though.

@Lionel Ronaldo Again boring.

@MingersPrayer Fun concept and executed well. This brand of madonna isn't my favourite but listenable and I like it. The melodic parts of the song works very well.

@nickkoko I like the autobiographical lyrics here. Some of the vocals seem to fall flat here, I guess because it's more of rapping than singing. It's not bad, I just wish it was a little more interesting.

@monstertoronto I love the way she weaves all her old song titles into the verses as she recounts her whole career. So effective and fun, and how many artists even have the history she has to allow them to try verses like these. And then she lilts into one of her prettiest choruses ever.

@Lorde Von Kok Messy, but good.

@FentyGa love madonna, love nas, love the references.

@shoful The rap she does is amazing! I love the song references!

13. Messiah - 7.26

Highest Score: 11 @Ronk

Lowest Score: 2 @heygurlhi

COMMENTS:

@lasagna one of her absolute best songs

@whoresup Pleasant song, a bit dull but she sounds good and some of the lyrics are great.

@selenalavigne Very interesting song.

@Blown Away This must be the most underrated song on this album. It suffer from being put in the back of this album, right after one mediocre and two awful tracks. It's the more melodic sister of HeartBreakCity and Wash All Over Me. It has the best elements of both songs and a much better chorus. I hope it gets far in this megarate.

@Lionel RonaldoBeautiful song, could be on the standard edition instead of a few Shite songs it contains like Bish I am Madonna.

@MingersPrayer Her voice sounds beautiful on this track. Great lyrics & melody. Really like this. Sounds like a song from a film soundtrack.

@nickkoko I'll admit, I actually forgot about this song. Listening back to this album in full for the first time in a while made me realize how much of a great track this is. I love the vocals and lyrics - beautiful.

@monstertoronto A lovely song with a beautiful chorus that reminds me a bit of the chorus of "Spanish Eyes", an old Madonna song.

@HausOfAntonio Really gorgeous but not too memorable or replayable.

@Lorde Von Kok A failed attempt at being grandiose.

@FentyGa probably objectively the best song on the record

12. Unapologetic Bitch - 7.30

Lowest Score: 1 @Blown Away

COMMENTS:

@whoresup Silly lyrics and just way below what Madonna should be releasing. There is hardly anything good I can say about this.

@selenalavigneIdk why but I absolutely love this song.

@Blown Away I don't like this song at all, mainly because of the reggae-ish production, the melody during the verses and pre-chorus and the harsh vocal production at some parts. The bridge is lazy too. Songs like this could've been scrapped from the album and it would've been her best album since Music.

@Lionel Ronaldo Not a fan of the vocals and music. not the best on the album.

@MingersPrayer Fun song & branding-wise it works. The message etc. At the time if you recall asking Alexa (or whatever) about 'unapologetic bitch' madonna's wiki would pop up. Nice touch. I feel with this track is a perfect example of what sounds like a producer handing her a track & her writing a top line for it. Not such a fan of that - it feels more like a song for Madonna the brand, than Madonna the person. I much prefer the 'in the room' collabs she has with other musicians that create music of depth like Stephen/Patrick/William/Mirwais. Having said this, I feel like even the moments I don't enjoy as much on this album are still pretty high quality.

@nickkoko I love the "don't give a f*ck" lyrics, but the production seems to fall flat at some points. Still a fun track though.

@monstertoronto fun song and the lyrics are hilarious. Really satisfying delivery of the words "well **** you" at the end of the chorus. Probably would have given even higher score but the party horn sound effect bugs me.

@Lorde Von Kok A skip.

COMMENTS:

@whoresup Very heartbreaking song *no pun intended* and I think the lyrics reveal a lot about the subject matter. Another one where we get to see her vulnerable side and great vocals.

@selenalavigne Better than I remember but... I mean you can't compare this to some other perfection on the album.

@Blown Away I instantly fell in love with the piano instrumental, I kinda wish it remained just with the piano through the entire song. But the rousing production is great too. The lyrics are very good too, the only thing it misses is a powerful chorus.

@Lionel Ronaldo Nice song to listen to once in a while, all I can say.

@MingersPrayer One of the lynch pins from the album. Classic Madonna & an example of how underrated this era was. I don't know why Madonna didn't go against the tide more with this campaign and just promote what she wanted rather than songs that might be radio friendly. This she's a progression in M that I love to see.

@nickkokoAnother beautiful ballad. She sounded great when I saw the tour, and it made me appreciate the song even more.

@monstertoronto heartfelt ballad. "you said i was your queen, tried to give you everything... now I'm no longer needed". So many lyrics seem so from her heart and her relationships with men and the public.

@HausOfAntonioI literally don’t know what this sounds like.

@Lorde Von Kok Meh.

@FentyGa lyrics are a bit cringeworthy at times, but that’s always madonna, i guess lol. it’s a great song.

@shoful Another amazing song. Puts me in the feels
