Congrats to the winners, HOWEVER I must point this out.

I understand I don't own the concept and it's not a new concept at all, but some of the similarities just push it into the theft category. I have learned my lesson not to post entries early at all to avoid this in the future, his poster is great and I wish him well, but I just cannot shake the fact that this IS the concept I went with as well that was already posted and well-seen at the time, just executed better. 

I have DM'd Adobe anyway because I posted my poster first, and especially 911 with the hands I can't on good conscience let my art just curl up and die. If Gaga taught me anything, I must fight for it! I don't want them to disqualify him at all but I just want it KNOWN that I posted mine first.

what do you want to be known? that people can have similar ideas? 

i mean, that artist visualized every song and how else would you visualize "paradise is in my hands" (the most visual aspect of the songs lyrics), than with.. two hands. that most definitely also took more than 11 days to make.

I can understand the frustration, the only issue here would be that this idea is more of a general concept a lot of people went with encorporating the Chromatica symbol with iconography from the album... annoying yes but not plagiarism or theft imo. I absolutely love your entry as the design aesthetic is similar to my own, wether or not it was ‘chosen’ out of thousands of entries isn’t important, it’s still great.

That I posted mine first, last line at the bottom of my post  and I didn’t bash their work I was just pointing it out, also outlined in my post.

Just feels odd to me, leaving at it great minds think alike although it makes me wonder

I disagree. And all art is theft in some aspects
