This is just sad to read. Familial relationships like this are just feedback loops of trauma.

Azealia also said things no one should ever say to their mother in these chats, I don’t feel sorry.

She’s tired of her ****, y’all don’t know how many times her mother stood behind her but if she behaved the way she did in front of the cameras I can understand why her mother doesn’t give a shįt

Azealia has talked about her mother for years on and off. Being a fan I remember things despite the statements being so scattered over time.

Her mother has some type of mental illness, she used to beat Azealia with a baseball bat when she was a child.  Her father wasn’t in the picture. Azealia also was in an abusive relationship at age 18-19. Her bf beat her up just days before she shot her music video for “1991”.

And yes she’s so radiant in the video. She’s a survivor.

Idc what yall say, I know she's been mad wrong a lot of times wbk, but I still feel bad for her, this relationship with her MOTHER is SOOO toxic. I hope she gets better mentally once and for all and manages to get her life together fr

This. I can't imagine how it would feel to have your own mother say those words to you.

My mom is the greatest and I have an amazing relationship with her. She called me stupid once, and it wasn't even that serious, she was just pissed about something else at that moment, but it still stings when I think about it. This happened over 10 years ago and it was the only time she's ever "insulted" me. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I can't even begin to fathom how much it would fuсk me up if she said things as horrible as the ones Azealia's mom did :wtf:

She's problematic for sure but you have to understand the intense trauma and stress she's dealt with, coming straight from people closest to her. Will forever have respect for her artistry and care for her. I only hope for her happiness

This sounds a lot like me and my mom and judging by everyone’s responses I guess that isn’t normal :messga:

reality’s tight if the music is right
