I remember going to see Oh Wonder and CHVRCHES being the opening act for Shawn Mendes at a music festival. 

I left after they were finished .

I also went to see Nick Jonas before Backstreet Boys only for the thirst .

I‘ve thought about it but it‘s really not worth the money because the ‚headliner‘ usually charges waaaay more for tickets than the opener would on their own.

I went for Britney but when I went to the Femme Fatale Tour in Atlanta in 2011, it was astounding how many people left the venue (not just for concessions, but like left the exit) after Nicki's set.

I drove (alone) from Washington to Denver to see San Holo at Red Rocks last summer—all because Chet Porter was one of the opening acts. I even bought a VIP ticket because I wanted one of the good seats, and it came with a meet n greet so I traveled for and met an artist I didn’t even really care about, just to see one of the five opening acts

I went to see Lana Del Rey ... but what sold me on that ticket was Courtney Love opened for her. I stuck around for Lana but she didnt sing any of the songs I love by her
