I feel so weird after learning this.  I guess you never really know about someone’s past until they make it but it seems so surreal. Listening to her newer stuff you’d think she just got out of college studying music or something and this was her first attempt. But the fact that she’s been trying to make it for 10+ years is so surreal, especially since I thought she was born in the late 1990s. I wonder if she’ll ditch this aim at a younger audience after her first album or if she’ll keep the “weird/misunderstood girl in school” act (no shade).
