Anderson123 37,516
Vogue but I’m not surprised Bad Romance is winning this poll.
Doot 2
I think Vogue is technically, but it's also been around for a lot longer. Either way, both are bangers but Bad Romance is still my favorite.
artpopsexual 1,791
Well, I'll go with BR, mostly because it was way more impactful in my life than Vogue was. And I'm not saying Vogue's not iconic or timeless, because it's one of the most iconic songs in pop history, but as people already said in this thread, comparing the two of them is like comparing two important historical monuments: both are extremely iconic in their own way And you can't just measure this in a poll having a 30y/o song against a 10y/o, because people were differently impacted by them. As I've said, BR had more impact in my life because I grew up with Lady Gaga, and I wasn't there when Vogue was released, but those who grew up with Madonna and were there at the time she released Vogue, will probably feel that Vogue impacted them the most. My instinct is to say Bad Romance because I literally grew up with that song being played, but Vogue (and Madonna in general) influenced sooo many artists, including Gaga herself. It's also a LGBTQ+ anthem. They're both iconic in their own way. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

RudraCNG 14,681
I mean, most of us here can't really make an unbiased pick since we didn't exist when Vogue was released. I think Vogue is probably more iconic but I can't say for sure so I won't vote.
RebeldeFaith 5,091
Vogue. Ask again in 20 years when BR turns 30. I personally think it will pass the test of time and be as iconic as Vogue. It is THE signature Lady Gaga song after all. Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza?
vanna shintuyu 10,401
You can't really compare 2 songs 20 years apart in terms of iconic-ness, but I guess the fact that we're still talking about and comparing the 30 year old song bodes well for it. fka butthole

MOT 2,920
This is not a difficult question. The correct answer is Bad Romance. The steps to get to the correct answer are as follows. 1. Madonna, as an icon, is bigger than Gaga, but Vogue is not among her ten best-selling singles. You don't automatically think Vogue when you think Madonna. 2. If you think of Gaga, you think Poker Face, Bad Romance and Shallow. 3. Now multiply Madonna's overall icon factor by Vogue's 'ranking within her discography' factor. 4. Do the same with Gaga and Bad Romance. 5. The two songs come out equal. 6. Now factor in the video for Bad Romance. At this point, the referee steps in and starts waving his arms. It's all over. Sister 9,907
Vogue But Bad Romance is in the same league and I love it so much You can not erase Madonna, no matter how much people try. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
