I mean if there's something specific u wanna see its not that far from Toronto anyway u could go there quickly for the falls or the safari or whatever u wanna see u don't have to spend the whole day there. If it's not rush hour it's less than an hour drive from Toronto

 

I just meant the city as a whole is nothing remarkable to be exploring in detail. Most parts of Hamilton are extremely crummy

haha of course there are sketchy parts, no denying that. I was gonna ask Twitter why he wanted to visit too, because it's not exactly a tourist trap. But I would actually say on the whole it's mostly quite nice! 

Because the city was largely dependent on steel manufacturing in the past it for sure took a downturn when that industry did, especially the downtown area. But in recent years there's been a lot of economic redevelopment, and when you get out of certain parts of the downtown core, it's pretty much just nice normal neighbourhoods.

Towards Americans yes many Canadians have a superiority complex for sure. It's always the "we are better than them, I'd never live in the US, they are a joke" kind of thing

 

Not every single person thinks that way obviously but a lot do

Even within the US the Northern States look down on the souther States for being messed up
