I wouldn't say she can't sing, she has shown multiple times she can sing. It's just that ever since 2008 the vocal production on her albums has been questionable and it prevents me from loving her songs a lot of times.

I participated in the megarate because I want to support my friend @Aarghya's megarates and I've also done the other Madonna ones. I skipped the Lana one for instance because I don't like the vast majority of her music.

I was just hanging out with my boyfriend :heart:

I wasn’t calling you out btw! ❤️🙏🏻

@God Control Excellent

@nickkoko I love everything about this song. The message is really thought-provoking and the melodies are very catchy. I also love the Portuguese bridge and the "life is a circle" part.

@MonsterOfSpain The thing that hurt the most was that I wasn't lost' That lyric definitely stands out, and this is one of the most representative songs on the album for a reason. I love the tandem it forms with KWAP. Both powerful, impactful masterpieces, with Portuguese elements

@whoresup I find this one drags on a bit and the lyrics could have been improved but it’s not a bad song.

@selenalavigne WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. WHAT A MASTERPIECE.
Wish the album was more like this and KWAP.

@Trillion Reasons Another song from Madame X that perfectly describes the idea (or at least one of many) of the album. This feels like Madonna finally found her place in this world.

@Philo The only thing keeping this song from becoming a 10/10 is that the "intro" is too long and after it seems like that we are listening to different song. Apart from that, there's  no criticism here, absolutely a wonderful track taking us on an oriental journey, a highlight on the album.

@Lionel Ronaldo Boring. Listening to this song was horrible.

@Blown Away I thought I had found my 0 song, but damn was I wrong. This one blew the previous contender out of the water. I don't know the right words to express how much I despise this song, I really don't.

@MingersPrayer One of the weirder moments on the album that I enjoy - my favourite part is "Aquilo que mais magoa - É que eu não estava perdida"

@Pennywise My second favorite from the album. I think I just like Madonna & Mirwais working together.

@monstertoronto i keep forgetting about this song

@erotic4 Boring up to half the track, then it gets interesting. She always knew how to use different cultures and put them in her work. The instrumental impresses me.

@shoful Another one of my favorite songs! Pretty much any song that has Mirwais producing on it is amazing! I remember hearing this song in the trailers she released prior to the album release. I was floored by this song. I could not get those clips outs of my head. I would just chant “life is a circle” because thats like the only lyrics we knew. When it released officially it was everything I wanted. The Morna influence is well executed and the shift in the song is so cool and refreshing. The Portuguese lyrics are haunting and almost addictive. They match the instrument that is playing soooooo well. The only thing that I wish was different about this song is if the intro was there and the lyrics didn’t start immediately. The tour version has like a nice 30 second instrumental intro that proper prepares you for the epicness of this song!
