I wasn't aware the other queens didn't lipsync straight after their elimination, so that's why I felt there was a disadvantage. Apparently that was only the case for Eureka.

I haven't read the other comments but this is some BULLSH**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought we were rid of S*l*y  just because you can stuff a bunch of props in your clothes......doesn't make you a f***ing All Star. This is Kandy Muse redemption all over again what is it lately with Ru pulling the "every kid gets a trophy" crap? 

I was really enjoying the concept of the episode until it became the S*l*y show. Please GOD Eureka win the lipsync. No need to see that other.....person on TV. UGH

The thing about lip sync is that 9 times out of 10 they can be edited to make anybody the winner. It’s basically a free pass to push a narrative. Obviously there are exceptions (Shea v Sasha springs to mind) but usually they can do whatever they want with the footage

This is an extremely shitty take.  Atleast be respectful to the queen. This has been one of the most entertaining episodes till date. 

Also why are you having difficulty in writing Silky's name? If a show makes you have such strong opinions against a living person, maybe stop watching the show.

I guess it's because Ru makes it clear that if you're brought back to All Stars, you bring your A game or you're going to go home. Many other queens failed to do this and they went home. Silky clearly had something going on with the producers because it's edited to push her redemption narrative. I get they do it because it makes for "good TV" but I don't really like when things are rigged. 

Also, I wasn't sure if the mods would give me WP for using her name/spoiler so that's why I coded her name. 

It all just seems very suspicious, like, clearly she's not on the same level as the top 4. Eureka has proven she is and is a very versatile queen. But Silky definitely failed the Talent Show challenge and I was not impressed by what she brought to the table. What we witnessed this week was cute for a dive bar or amateur drag show, but come on this is the biggest drag competition in the world...

EDIT: Also the solo lipsync?! Come on! No one can deny this is set up....they obviously knew Akeria wasn't coming back but they acted like it was a surprise. They let her perform for the sake of "her story" please

She was entertaining but this is too rigged for my taste. It did provide a nice stage for Silky, but as a former finalist it's not like she was never given this stage before.

You did not code her name for a spoiler lmao.  Like S*l*y is sooo hard to decipher. 

Anyway it's okay to have opinions and favorites. I am team Rajah too! It might not have been impressive to you, but to many others including me, she rightfully earned her redemption. She was smart enough to think of gags and tricks to entertain, impress Ru and get back in the competition  She planned her props, which the other queens could have done as well. Except Eureka, who lipsynced right after she was eliminated.

You might not like someone, but to refer to them as "that other person" is not a good look.

Thats what I thought at first, but it could also be that they all were given more lipsync songs to prepare. And I noticed unlike regular seasons, all stars change their outfits before each lipsync. So it could very well be that Silky decided to bring some themed outfits for lipsync songs incase she needed them. If she didn't use them she could use them for mini/maxi challenges or performances after drag race. It's a clever move if she did.

Yeah I felt this way until the solo lipsync. Ru and producers obviously knew Akeria wasn't coming and let her perform anyway. They did it for the storyline element for Silky. "Reality" tv indeed

It’s a shame that the smackdown which would have been an amazing idea, exposed the cracks in the show and unfair attributes that is reality tv. I preferred watching ignorantly
